Need any more proof about Global Warming? We are convinced... When Detroit is the same temperature as Dallas, there is something funny going on out there. Anyway, we have lot's to talk about before we go on a well needed vacation next week (and, if you order something from our online store next week, it will not ship out until Monday of the following week when we return from our sabbatical).
So, on with the good stuff... Please welcome Austin's own Tia Carrera (the band, not the hot babe from Wayne's World) to our ever growing family of rock. We have been following the TC band for several years now, and our most recent trip to SXSW this past year sealed it for us. The band is currently busy constructing their new studio, and will begin recording their new album for us in the next month or so. Their yet to be titled and recorded release will come out sometime in 2009.
Roadsaw's new release "See You In Hell" is days away from heading to the plant. Their new album will be hitting the streets late August. You can also expect to see Roadsaw on the road in Europe sometime shortly after the album's release this Fall.
You say that you can't get enough of the Brain Police? Then good news for you... We will be re-releasing two albums from the Brain Police in August. Both "Electric Fungus" & their "S/T" albums will be made available around the globe for their first time ever. Previosly, these two albums have only been available in Iceland. For fans of: Fu Manchu, Sasquatch, and Dozer.
Finally, both Sons Of Otis, and Whitey Morgan and the 78's have wrapped up recording their new albums. We are not 100% sure what Bloozed out Doom and Outlaw Country have in common, but you will have those two new releases to look forward to around September & October.
