Lo-Pan – “Sasquanaut” (Vinyl – Transparent Green)

As far as I know, Thin Lizzy and Hawkwind never played together, but if they did and had a late night jam session Lo Pan’s Sasquanaut might have been the result. This was originally released on another label but when Small Stone signed the band they did some remixing and remastered the whole thing. Never heard the original, but this sounds great. Vocals have a nice distorted halo around them and the band crushes while it swings. They can get kind of trippy at times like Mick Bolton era UFO but never to the point of pointless noodling.- WoodyThe Ripple Effect

Wo Fat – “The Conjuring” – Vinyl – (Transparent Red)

180 gram vinyl, deluxe jacket and poly-lined sleeves. Limited to 250 Black, 250 Transparent Red... THIS IS A PRE-ORDER... Items are estimated to be in stock around July 30th, 2014.The Conjuring is a swampadelic fuzz grooved monster... A heavy-riff/heavy-jam blast of a time – the kind of record that turns the vaguely interested into converts and that makes the corners on squares look even sharper. Guitarist/vocalist Kent Stump, bassist Tim Wilson and drummer/backing vocalist Michael Walter are jazz-combo tight and their roll is easy and natural, like you remember Fu Manchu being, but bigger-sounding and in the case of The Conjuriing, darker as well...
